Here is our week at a glimpse:
Writing- We are continuing our lab experiments, perfecting our procedures, results, and conclusions. We will also focusing on editing and revising our scientific process.
Math- We are continuing to solve addition and subtraction within 100 using multiple strategies: part/part/whole model, expanded form, and number line. We will be looking at missing addends. For example: __+ 32= 65, 32+__= 65
Reading: We are continuing finding sequence and order in non-fiction texts, specifically life cycles, how-to texts, and historical texts. Clue words include: First, Second, Next, Then, After that, Finally, etc.
Phonics: Our pattern this week is r-controlled "o" words. This includes -or, -oar, -our, -oor, and -ore.
